Is she here, or is she there?
Or in your mind everywhere?
Those dark hypnotic eyes, that fleeting deadly glance
Held fast, enthralled by the seductive trance
The hardened exterior of one whom has seen
The harsh reality of it all, the chaos and the fall
Barriers to protect against the paralyzing pain
It always comes like onslaughts of black rain
The walls crumble, and the sun shines down
Inner beauty fit for a bejeweled crown
Fighting all the fear, hate, rage
Destroying that stunted cage
Stronger than steel, purged in fire
Filling all who glimpse with desire
Just to see, what could be
Is she here, or is she there?
Or in your mind everywhere?
